The final walk as a bachelor for this groom flanked by his entourage of closest amigos quickly became a memorable spring blizzard in Colorado. There are no guarantees what the weather is going to do any time of the year, much less in April. They say if you don't like the weather in Colorado, wait five minutes. It couldn't have been truer than on this day, but a good time was had by all, despite the hard-driving storm.

Father and Daughter
Cheryl dances with her father at what turned out to be quite a fun and unique wedding event. After the band wrapped it up, about 20 drums were brought out and a large circle of percussion, dance and singing ensued. I joined in on the action, accepting an invitation to try a larger drum and a didgeridoo. I just might have a talent for Aboriginal tribal music should I ever consider a career change!

Sean's Posse
Sean, the groomsmen and his soon-to-be father-in-law looking tough on the deck of Fireridge overlooking near Lory Canyon State Park after a stunning sunset. Sean recently lead 200 men into combat in Iraq as an officer for the United States Marine Corps. Keep him and his men in your prayers over the next 8 months.

Jordy and Chad
We had a lot of fun creating this shot. Jordy had wanted something elegant, tasteful, yet striking in her formal portrait. So after much laughter and efforts to look serious, we finally produced a 'swept off her feet' moment.

The Special Moment
Amidst a flurry of activity while setting up the large family portrait, I caught this tender interaction that seemed to defy the otherwise action-filled scene. It is for these brief scenes that I find to be the most fulfilling when you get it just right on film!
